A couple of weeks ago, my mother in laws dog "Perdo" got killed. He was my dogs, best friend and my daughter adored him.
He got killed while we all went to the family reunion and he was watched by a family member. Their German shepherd attacked him, and killed him.
Many Catholics , believe animals dont go to heaven, because they dont have immortal souls. But, I find it hard to believe that a life of a loving pet just extinguishes like a candle. God created our pets, he gave them ability to hurt, love and feel joy. Truth is until we get to heaven, we just dont know. And I really wish Catholics would not be so heated about this.
I hope the little guy is someplace, running and jumping experiencing freedom he never had.
