AP 2008 BABY!!

For years me and Mike have always made fun of the "applefest" until, today.

We went (for the first time) and it really is fun, its focused on kids. Totally. And all activities are free. There was a TON of things to do for all ages. We did not do them all just some of them.

The petting zoo, it was small but fun. They had goats, calves, ducks, sheep and 2 reindeer which Megan flipped for since they belong to Santa. Her favorite was the baby goats.

After that we went to the firehouse which was so much fun, we got to see the firetrucks, and all of the vehicles they use, got a tour of the whole firehouse, and Megan put out a fire!!! As many of you know, for a year now Megan has been wanting to be a firefighter when she grows up.

The YMCA had a bouncy castle which she used.

They had crafts tent, we got to do a backpack, key-chain, and a plane (they had more activities but Megan was really a bit young for them).

And best of all the Sheriff department put on a demonstration with their K-9! What a dog! Born in Poland (and we all know Poland only produces genius). She found drugs, showed how she attacks and defends. After she was done all the kids got to go up and pet her (me included), and they took us to her cruiser where she showed us how she can open and close the car door. This is when Megan got pet her again, and again, and again she actually got some one on one time with the "jail police dog"

We ran into Mikes aunt, Megan's Godmother and her kids. Its always great to see them.

Oh and they had that thing where a you throw baseballs and dunk a person in water. Megan really wanted to do it, since she couldn't throw the ball that far she watched, and laughed. She LOVED it.
